Explorer Program

fire-service-exploreing

Explorer Post/Club #800 is an Emergency Services Program where young men and women are able to come get a look at what Fire service and Emergency Medical Service First Responders are all about. This is a tool to learn how to communicate effectively and how to implement leadership skills to overcome stressful or hard situations. Explorers will have the ability to train on the duties of the job without the risk of deadly/harmful  situations. This post is to provide our younger generation with a new idea for a career path and  to help out our volunteer communities  with more prepared people ready to join.  This program is gender neutral with age restrictions of 10-20 years old with at least successful completion of 6th Grade. Current meeting times are the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month starting 6:30PM at the fire department.
